I stay here whenever I'm in Cairo. Berlin Hotel is in a perfect location, is budget-friendly and I love its quirky charm. If you love 5-star, soul-less hotels, this isn't the place for you. Our room this stay had two balconies and a great street view below; beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of space. The manager, Hisham, checks in personally with every guest, and helped me navigate some Booking.com reservation hurdles pre-arrival.. On this trip, Hisham also helped us when we left something valuable in the room -- when we came to pick it up some days later, the on-site attendant brought it down personally. Amazing service.

The manager sets expectations when you book, this is a budget hotel that is being renovated. We arrived late at night, someone from the hotel was waiting for us to show us the way, there was a sign but the hotel is on the 4th floor and the stairs dusty and not well lit. The staff are friendly and helpful but only the manager speaks english and is at the end of a phone. Double height ceilings, great location.

Great location all shops and resturants are around immeditlay outside the hotel. The cheap and trust transportation from / to the airport. Mr. Josef (one of the staff) is very good and helpful and can answer any question you ask for your stay. The toilets were always clean and available .

Excellent downtown location. Shops, metro, transport all locally available within short distance with a good evening vibe. Hotel staff are very polite and extremely helpful. They welcomed me every time I re entered the hotel. They also guided me to local transport, shops and other local advice. Sometimes there was a wait for the lift, but this was a minor point.

it sucks starting from the entrance to the people who work there I arrive at the facility and they tell me that there are no rooms available even though the booking is confirmed, however I thank God I didn't stay there because it really sucks, degradation at maximum levels
